§ 3-4. Determination of boundaries.

  • Whenever uncertainty exists with respect to the location of the boundary line of a district shown upon a district map, the boundary line, unless dimensioned on the map, shall be determined as follows:

    (1)

    The boundary line shall be the centerline of the street or alley, if there be one, nearest the periphery of the district; or

    (2)

    In case there is not [a] street or alley and the land is divided into lots or blocks, the boundary line shall be the property line of the lots or blocks nearest the periphery of the district; or

    (3)

    In case there is no such street or alley and the land is not divided into lots or blocks, the boundary line shall be a line determined by measurement of the distance shown on the district map according to the scale indicated thereon.
